O2 agrees IT Support contract with ATM

O2 has agreed an IT Support contract for the support of aspects of O2’s UK Tivoli infrastructure with UK nationwide provider of IT helpdesk and managed services ATM Technology Management.

ATM commenced work with O2 by carrying out an IBM Tivoli audit service to ascertain its options and what upgrades or patches were necessary for the servers that were licensed for Tivoli software. The second element of the service provided is a helpdesk for Tivoli support, available 24x7. This has been used to provide valuable assistance to O2’s own on-site team. The third aspect of the service is technical support for the Tivoli software, ensuring that O2 benefits from the latest patches and updates.

O2 needed a provider on board that could work with its Tivoli monitoring tools to cover its complex and sophisticated infrastructure. ATM’s services have allowed O2 to focus on the systems monitoring strategy for the years ahead without worrying about day-to-day operations.
