ATM expands IBM Tivoli demonstration capability

ATM Technology Management, UK nationwide provider of IT Support, IT helpdesk and managed services, has today announced the extension of their customer demonstration suite. This facility was originally created to demonstrate IBM Tivoli software, used as part of our managed services. The business development department has grown to include provision of exciting new software and an expanded professional services capability.

ATM and Tivoli

ATM has been an IBM Advanced Business Partner for over two years and has a specialty in using Tivoli to support managed services and in deploying or supporting clients’ own Tivoli systems.

The existing demonstration suite allowed ATM to demonstrate:

  • Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC)
  • Tivoli Netview (network monitoring)
  • Tivoli Monitoring (ITM 5.1)
  • Tivoli Configuration Manager
  • Tivoli Switch Analyzer
  • Integration with our internal Helpdesk & Service Management system
  • Voice, SMS and mail alerts via our Support Sentinel service
  • Monitoring & management for Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux (Red Hat / SuSE) and Novell NetWare

The new features added to our suite include:

  • Tivoli Monitoring (ITM 6.1)
  • Tivoli Monitoring Express (ITMx)
  • Tivoli Composite Application Manager for response time tracking (ITCAM for RTT)
  • Tivoli Provisioning Manager Express (TPMx)
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Express (TSMx)
  • Tivoli Continuous Data Protection for Files (CDP)

The Composite Application Managers allows us to see how complex applications behave and measure transaction times.
