Total E&P UK plc contract renewal

TOTAL E&P UK renews services contract with ATM Technology Management

ATM Technology Management, UK Nationwide Help Desk & Managed Services provider, has won another 18-month renewal of its long-standing support contract with Aberdeen-based TOTAL E&P UK. The new contract includes software and hardware maintenance for desktops, servers and local area networks located on and offshore. Additional project work such as office moves, operating system upgrades and software deployments is also being undertaken.

What the Customer says ...

"TOTAL has enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with ATM Technology Management. By outsourcing our IT support services, we can concentrate on our core business activities. Not only does ATM provide our routine user support but we've also engaged them on specific technical projects such as operating system migration and server consolidation. We're looking forward to continuing a highly successful working partnership," said Lorraine Smith, head of IS Services, TOTAL E&P UK.

ATM comments ...

"ATM has been working closely with TOTAL Energy & Production UK for the last seven years, providing an end-to-end service in their Aberdeen offices and on several offshore installations. We're delighted that they've decided to renew the support contract once again,".

"This contract demonstrates the extent of ATM's capabilities for one of the UK's leading companies along with the added challenge of working offshore. It's also about providing an excellent support response against a demanding service level contract, helping TOTAL's IS Department to improve its user service and reduce corporate operating costs. Our flexible approach and deep understanding of TOTAL's business have meant larger and more frequent project engagements too."

Services Provided

ATM is currently supporting around 500 software applications running on over 750 personal computers and 125 servers located in Aberdeen and within several offshore installations. The 18-month contract includes support for Novell Netware and Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP. Providing around-the-clock cover, the ATM Help Desk receives around 1,800 calls from TOTAL personnel each month. ATM technical staff work on site, supporting more than 96 percent system availability which exceeds the current service level agreement. Additional projects in progress include a migration to Microsoft Windows XP on the desktop, the deployment of Microsoft Windows 2000 and consolidation of existing servers.
