ATM supplies ICT Equipment & Support Services to Birmingham Schools
Birmingham City Council have awarded a new supply contract for ICT Equipment and Services to Linetex | ATM.
Linetex | ATM will be working in partnership with Birmingham City Council, local schools, learning centres and other educational establishments to:
- provide a choice of technically advanced, sustainable and value-for-money equipment and services
- develop schools' systems as the basis for “extended school”
- work with Service Birmingham (particularly Link2ICT) to ensure seamless reliability
- contribute to the City regeneration programmes
- understand and advance the City's and schools' ICT agenda for transforming education

Linetex | ATM has been approved to supply:
- Desktop Equipment (PCs, Laser Printers, Inkjet Printers etc)
- Portable Equipment (Laptop, Notebook and Tablet PCs and PDAs)
- Core Infrastructure (Servers and Network Switches, Hubs and Routers)
- System Software (operating Systems, Applications etc)
- Installation, Moves, Changes and Disposal Services (IMACD)
- Maintenance and IT Support Services
Why ATM?
Following an extensive tendering process by Birmingham City Council, Linetex | ATM were awarded the new contract to provide a Framework Agreement within which schools and education centres can confidently place orders for a wide range of equipment and services in delivering their ICT plans with confidence that each company has been through vigorous evaluation processes by Birmingham City Council.
